Your Role 

  • Lead the industrialization of new radar and electronics products from business award through serial production (SOP).

  • Act as the primary manufacturing interface between Product Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Production Plants.

  • Drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews to ensure products can be built robustly and efficiently.

  • Create and maintain manufacturing project plans, launch timing, industrialization deliverables, and milestone tracking.

  • Lead MSD workshops, process flow development, and manufacturing readiness reviews.

  • Develop production line concepts including equipment selection, material flow, cycle time analysis, traceability, and automation strategies.

  • Drive PFMEA, manufacturing risk assessments, process validation, and capability studies (Cp/Cpk).

  • Define equipment requirements, manage RFQs/SOWs, support supplier selection, and oversee equipment buy-offs.

  • Support prototype, DV, PV, and customer builds while ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future launches.

  • Escalate technical, timing, quality, and cost risks and drive recovery actions to protect SOP commitments.

 

 

Your Background 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.

  • Demonstrated ability to transform product designs into robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and Production Validation processes.

  • Experience working with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, VDA, customer-specific requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes including SMT, assembly automation, test systems, traceability, and process validation.

  • Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T requirements, technical specifications, DFMEA outputs, and design documentation.

  • Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional industrialization and launch activities.

  • Proven problem-solving capability using methodologies such as 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, or similar structured approaches.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment, including customer-facing technical discussions.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
