The Lead Logistics Coordinator – ME is responsible for Pall Saudi and Pall Middle East Day to day logistics activities including but not limited to handling all shipments activities for these two entities.
This position reports to the Middle East & Global Projects Logistics Manager and is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics located in Saudi Arabia and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Taking full responsibility of Pall Arabia for Trading, Pall Middle East FZE, and other Pall entities shipments activities for obtaining rates until settling the freight and duty invoices as well as SABER management.
- Working on processes improvements for the logistics activities and freight forwarders follow up and evaluations.
- Ensuring on time delivery for internal and external customers’ orders.
- Managing and monitoring Pall inventory in the Middle East and solving critical issues for Projects and services shipment.
- Looking after the logistics cost and propose saving options and handling and negotiating all shipments RFQs especially for the out of gage and oversized shipments to ensure saving target is being achieved.
The essential requirements of the job include
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Management, business, or in any similar field of Study.
- Minimum 3 +years’ experience in Logistics /Export
- Good practical understanding of both Saudi Arabia and GCC, business and trade and customs rules and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to maintain good relationships across different functions; able to influence across cultures and countries.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel around 10% both domestic and inter-region travel; some international travel to support Pall Global projects, if needed.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- 5+ years of experience in logistics/export
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system and ShipERP or other Transport Management systems
- Export/Import customs clearance strong knowledge
- Experience working with trade related documentation such as Pro Forma, Ocean Bill of Lading, Airway bill, Road CMR, ISO Certificates etc.
