- Lead the development, configuration, and deployment of Moodle LMS packages for delivery on U.S. Navy tactical systems.
- Architect and implement scalable LMS solutions, supporting SCORM/xAPI content, quizzes, simulations, and multimedia modules.
- Develop and maintain Linux-based scripting and packaging tools to ensure proper content integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to convert legacy content into interactive, standards-compliant formats (SCORM/xAPI).
- Ensure compatibility, performance, and cybersecurity compliance of LMS deployments in disconnected and secure environments.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for LMS installation events and fleet-wide deployments.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders using Agile principles and tools such as Jira.
- Support ILS integration and documentation procedures, including versioning and configuration management workflows.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, instructional system integration, or LMS administration—preferably in DoD or Navy programs.
- Proven experience as a technical lead or senior developer for Moodle LMS deployments and customization.
- Strong skills in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 for web-based content and LMS enhancement.
- Experience developing SCORM/xAPI-compliant content and LMS plugins or integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting tools for software packaging and deployment.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and issue tracking (e.g., Jira).
- Ability to lead complex integration efforts in high-security or disconnected network environments.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification and Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Experience supporting AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 sonar system training or related Navy tactical training programs.
- Familiarity with content development tools like Adobe Captivate, Premiere, and Animate.
- Experience with Navy Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tools, IETMs, and technical documentation platforms such as PTC Windchill and Arbortext.
- Understanding of STIG compliance, cybersecurity policy, and Navy IT environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience coordinating with Navy stakeholders during shipboard installs, training validations, or fleet support events.

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
