As a Lead Key Account Manager within our Specialised Insurance Group, this role oversees the HII and Trinity portfolios and leads a team of Key Account Managers managing complex workers compensation accounts across direct and broker channels.

The focus is on strengthening strategic relationships, lifting team capability and ensuring service delivery aligns with portfolio risk frameworks and shareholder expectations. You will act a senior escalation point, support premium and renewal strategy and maintain a strong presence in market with key industry partners.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in our Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 2 days per week).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Senior Key Account Managers to deliver high quality portfolio outcomes.

  • Oversee strategic relationships across direct employer and broker portfolios, ensuring alignment with agreed service standards.

  • Act as senior escalation point for complex or high-risk accounts.

  • Partner with underwriting, claims and WHS teams to deliver integrated risk management solutions.

  • Drive retention strategies, renewal planning and premium discussions across the portfolio.

  • Build and maintain strong strong relationships with key industry partners to support growth and shareholder satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

  • 7+ years’ experience in workers compensation or insurance, including exposure to complex portfolios.

  • Previous leadership experience managing or mentoring relationship or account management teams.

  • Strong understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation and premium environments.

  • Commercially astute with the ability to assess employer risk and identify growth or retention opportunities.

  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, brokers and executive-level client.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
