Introduction:

This position is in GlobalFoundries India center at Bengaluru, supporting Digital Manufacturing in enabling digital solution for 300mm and 200mm wafer fab across Singapore, USA, Dresden.
The candidate will be responsible for leading, creating, supporting and maintaining internal services and java applications that will be used by other teams in the fab.

Your Job:

• Lead full stake development effort with 2-3 junior developers, working autonomously with minimum directions from supervisors to own E2E development efforts

• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements applications that support critical manufacturing fab operations and engineering tasks using SpringBoot /Angular .

• The application is containerized using Docker, orchestrated through AWS ECS, and deployed on AWS EC2 instances for scalable and efficient cloud operations

• Work closely with Product Owners and business customers to translate their needs into predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.

• Collaborate closely with GFIT, Manufacturing Data Domain group to support Lead Data Scientist in building the required data pipelines for productionalized and scalable predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.

Other Responsibilities: 

• Work with users, other developers, database administrators, engineers, and other groups as needed when implementing new functionality or when fixing application issues.

• Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with min 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent with min 6 years of relevant experience

• Solid Java programming and relational DB skills

• Proficiency in essential languages, including Angular, Java/J2EE, REST, Spring Boot and relational databases development tools (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift).

• Experience in dealing with development environments IntelliJIDEA.

• Experience in creating business models in environments such as R, Python and semiconductor experience are added advantage

• Demonstrate a profound understanding of relational databases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system performance.

• Should be able to lead the project end to end with minimal support

• Should guide junior resource to deliver tasks on time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS.

• Development experience with designing and implementing services, REST, JSON.

• Specialize in the seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies to ensure cohesive application development.

• Familiar with the use of version control and CICD tools include GIT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins.
