In the Lead, IT Disaster Recovery role, you’ll spearhead our Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing Program, ensuring that our critical systems are resilient and prepared for any disruption. This role demands a strategic thinker who can design, implement, and continuously refine a robust DR testing framework, safeguarding our business operations. Your leadership will be crucial in orchestrating cross-functional teams, executing rigorous testing scenarios, and driving improvements based on real-world insights. The Lead, IT Disaster Recovery leads all aspects of our exercise program including scheduling process, pre-test planning, test execution, post-test reporting and after-action follow-up. This candidate will have strong experience in leading, mentoring IT Owners and maturing DR testing including both isolated and live exercises. Candidate will work directly with team's Sr. Engineers in support of their portfolios to advance testing objectives and with architecture to drive test strategy.

Lead will be knowledgeable on all aspects of disaster recovery including plan development, testing, governance, communication, metrics and reporting. Candidate will have extensive experience with the functions and processes associated with a DR team and understand IT structure, incident and event management.

In addition, Lead will partner with our data management team to ensure proper data and reporting for testing. Understanding ServiceNow and their BC Module is a plus. Requirement to work closely with various operational and support groups within IT and with outside groups including Business Continuity and Crisis Management. Influences program strategy, development of goals and annual planning. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determines/recommends the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of disaster recovery experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong management skills including work-planning, meeting facilitation, communication, reporting and issue resolution
  • Experience with MS Office 365 and IT Management systems
  • Ability to manage detailed data analysis
  • ​Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Detail Oriented, Quality Focused, Efficient, Flexible, Collaborative, Motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated leadership including the ability to grow and develop other people
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology requirements
  • Quality and efficiency focused
  • Experience with ServiceNow, and PowerBI
  • Experience with process and quality management

Additional Information

  • May require some travel, less than 5%.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$104,800 - $144,300 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
