Leads instrumentation and control systems engineering for EPC power plant projects, coordinating design, procurement, subcontractors, suppliers, site implementation, commissioning, budgets, schedules, quality, HSE, and technical risk. 1.                                               Duties and ResponsibilitieS

2.1.   Coordinate Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineering activities and associated procurement processes.

2.2.   Oversee engineering deliverables from Sub-Contractors—including calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings—to ensure compliance with the Contract between and the Employer, engineering services agreements, applicable codes and standards (IEC, ISA, and others), approved work schedules, the project engineering budget, and HSE, environmental, and quality objectives. Ensure designs are optimized for technical efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

2.3.   Evaluate deficiencies, non-conformities, and technical   identified by the Employer or the Construction Team; develop and implement corrective engineering solutions; conduct technical negotiations with the Employer; and ensure formal resolution and approvals.

2.4.   Manage all documentation and correspondence with the Employer, Sub-Contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, including review comments, meeting minutes, and action lists; ensure proper record-keeping, controlled access, and appropriate distribution.

2.5.   Prepare, monitor, and report the Engineering Department budget and work schedule; identify technical risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement value engineering principles to optimize technical solutions and prevent budget or schedule deviations. Define KPIs for departmental processes, track performance, and implement corrective actions for deviations.

2.6.   Manage all signed procurement packages, including engineering, planning, reporting, supply, site installation, and commissioning supervision; monitor technical compliance and progress of equipment manufacturing; participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT); and resolve any scope changes or technical issues with suppliers.

2.7.   Provide technical oversight and support for site implementation; coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines; and participate in technical bid evaluations or tender processes as required.

2.8.   Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformities, develop corrective action plans, and ensure resolution. Prepare and/or participate in Method Statements, HSE Risk Assessments, and incident investigations.

2.9.   Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality procedures, Integrated Management System, and documentation requirements. Participate in and contribute to Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and Environmental trainings and meetings. Take appropriate measures to minimize environmental impact, resource consumption, and waste generation.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

2.2.Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role for EPC based Power Plant projects, including design, procurement, and site implementation.

2.3.Language & Computer Skills

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PLC/Logic programming software.

2.4.Core Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors

Experience with specific DCS/PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Honeywell, Emerson).

Standards Knowledge of IEC, ISA, NFPA, API, ATEX, SIL, etc.

Fundamental knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and process engineering principles.

Proven design coordination and site experience.

Strong analytical and multi-disciplinary thinking skills.

Effective teamwork, time management, and stress management abilities.
