We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to oversee datacenter infrastructure engineering and operations for the CenterWell Home Health subsidiary of Humana. This individual will:

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer scope of responsibility includes ensuring the technical foundation for Virtualization, Operating Systems, Security, and support of cloud environments. Develops the organization’s infrastructure and Obsolescence plans, aligns implementation plans, and ensures effective integration of all IT infrastructure. Administers the company's enterprise Server and Virtualization infrastructure environments, performing upgrades when necessary, monitoring system performance and planning for capacity. Ensures the company’s enterprise IT structure meets standards security Service Level Agreements. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
This role engineers, orchestrates, automates, and oversees datacenter servers & storage, hypervisors, server operating systems, system orchestration, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Public Key Infrastructure.
The Lead Infrastructure Engineer designs, analyzes, develops, configures and maintains Virtual Infrastructure, Operating Systems, Networks, Servers, Security/Vulnerability Programs and Software Solutions. They do this through consoles, orchestrators, & scripts, while supporting infrastructure change testing, deployment, & maintenance activities by peer reviewing scripts & rollout plans. Advises executives to develop functional strategies specific to the CenterWell Home Health segment on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Provides technical leadership for each of their domains to their peers and supporting contractors.

Required Qualifications
- 8 years as an Infrastructure Engineer in design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex infrastructure systems & solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering, architecture concepts, and techniques
- Highly Experienced in engineering for datacenter infrastructure, with a focus on operations and administration of the platforms running end user applications
- Comprehensive expertise includes datacenter servers & storage, hypervisors, server operating systems, system orchestration, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Public Key Infrastructure
- 2 years or more providing technical leadership to engineering teams
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

This candidate will oversee and administer a very broad range of infrastructure systems & solutions. Preference will be given to those who have experience in multiple domains and technologies detailed below:
Block, File, and Backup Storage:
- Storage Area Network zoning
- Block Storage Arrays
- File Storage Arrays
- Backup Storage Arrays/Appliances
Distributed Compute:
- Blade and Rack Mount Server Hardware
- VMware Hypervisor
- Windows Server
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Infrastructure Applications:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Public Key Infrastructure
- DNS & DHCP
- Server Monitoring and Orchestration Tools
- Infrastructure Orchestration Tools like Hashicorp Terraform or VMware Aria/vRealize
Additional Information
We are a small but mighty team and our infrastructure is the vehicle by which all CenterWell Home Health patient interactions are made possible.
This candidate will marry strategy to tactics through multiple teams of contractors.
Work-At-Home Requirements
- WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
- A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
- Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
- A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,300 - $158,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
