Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with customer and vendor
- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proficiency in Bash scripting or equivalent scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience providing L2 support and contributing to L3 resolution for complex macOS or MDM-related issues.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining knowledge articles, runbooks, and self-service content.
- Familiarity with Qualys or similar vulnerability management tools.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune, including policies, configuration profiles, extension attributes, Self Service, application packaging, scoping, reporting, smart/static groups, and advanced search capabilities.
- Strong experience with device enrollment processes, Apple Business Manager, and automated device enrollment workflows.
- Proven expertise in creating, testing, and maintaining macOS packages and deployment strategies.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow (incident, request, and problem management) and ITIL best practices.
- Experience managing endpoint security, including vulnerability remediation, patching, and OS/application updates in macOS environments.
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune solutions for the macOS environment, including configuration profiles, policies, application deployment, scoping, Self Service capabilities, inventory, smart and static groups, and advanced search functionality.
- Build, test, and maintain macOS packages and deployment workflows, including supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for software, configuration, and policy changes.
- Collaborate with vulnerability management and security teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate non-compliant endpoints through patching, OS updates, application upgrades, and enforcement of security controls.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, reduce remediation time, and ensure consistency across environments.
- Create and continuously improve knowledge base articles, runbooks, and self-service documentation while identifying recurring incidents and contributing to problem management and continual service improvement initiatives.
- Provide L2 support and assist in L3 issue resolution for macOS, mobile device management (MDM), and application-related incidents using structured troubleshooting and remote support methodologies.
