Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to work as part of the Counter Threat Operations Team. Success will require regular collaboration with multiple teams across the Information Security Department, including our partners in Real Estate, HR, Privacy, and Legal.
  • Oversee projects to enhance Wells Fargo security posture and build a world class Counter Threat Operations Center (Fusion Center).
  • Will actively work to integrate threat intelligence, incident response, and other security functions into a unified operation.
  • Will define project scope, developing plans to mitigate threats, work across teams in multiple security disciplines, ensure projects align with security goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Will require strong leadership, project management, and technical skills, including knowledge of security tools and experience working in a large information security organization.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans for the Wells Fargo Counter Threat Operations Center.
  • Ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes for all fusion center related activities.
  • Identify and analyze security risks, developing strategies and projects to minimize threats and vulnerabilities while facilitating a battle rhythm that fosters a constant learning environment.
  • Supervise and guide cyber security teams, fostering collaboration and communication across different functional groups.
  • Ensure that project objectives are aligned with the overall strategic goals of the organization's security program.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including security engineers, leadership, and other departments to integrate security efforts and provide clear reporting.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience with content creation using powerpoint, excel, and other office applications.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile a major plus)
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical or business discipline.
  • Strong understanding of information security, threat intelligence incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills to manage teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Understanding of security tools such as Splunk, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, and other SIEM platforms, and vulnerability management software.
  • Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk/threats
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Knowledge and understanding of data security controls including malware protection, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, content filtering, Internet proxies, encryption controls, and log management solutions
  • Experience with data analytics, data mining, and parsing of large data sets.
  • Strong understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, analytic tradecraft, and attack methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience working in a Security Operations, Incident Management or Fusion Center operation is preferred.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
