As a Lead Growth Analyst, you’ll work directly with our marketing teams and senior leadership to unlock growth insights from our large pool of data. Your exploratory and targeted analyses will inform decisions and create strategies to continue our fast pace of growth. You’ll help define growth marketing metrics, optimize marketing spend, develop a learning agenda and identify opportunities to improve our onboarding funnel.

Because the work is critical for our company, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about driving results through data driven insights. You'll report directly to the Director of Data & Analytics with a dotted line into the VP of Growth. This individual will be embedded with our Growth Marketing team - shaping roadmaps, owning results and developing projections. You’ll dive deep to understand key drivers of conversion, LTV and retention. As a senior member of our team, you’ll influence the direction of marketing strategy and our analytics team.

You will build data visualizations that provide insights into how the business is performing, and uncover impactful insights that will drive the business forward. You will size opportunities to improve our strategy on a macro and micro level and see those strategies through to completion. You will become the SME for all things funnel, marketing and growth and identify opportunities to capture and create value. You will partner with a wide range of data practitioners, business leaders, software engineers and product managers to grow our company in a sustainable way. 

  • You’ll understand the broad business context in order to partner with the VP of Growth and growth team to drive acquisitions and improve our onboarding funnel. 

  • You’ll increase the aperture of focus to include the full customer lifecycle and find meaningful insights that drive growth in multiple dimensions. 

  • You’ll have ownership over growth pod metrics, be the first to discover problems and lead with hypothesis driven investigations. 

  • You’ll be a steward for all the people and data sources you rely on to drive insights - to ensure accurate and honest use of data. 

  • You’ll mentor fellow analysts, helping them grow their skills, and be open to learning from your teammates as you continue to grow your own skills.

  • You’ll introduce new ideas to help the team iterate on processes and deliver more robust data products. 

  • You’ll audit and improve our growth marketing reporting dashboards.

  • You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on predictive data modeling

  • You’ll have the opportunity to contribute outside of growth marketing analytics; in particular to product strategy and operations.

  • Participate actively in RFC reviews across CS data verticals, encouraging application level data models that follow best practices and are usable downstream by the analytics team

  • Develop control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels

  • Improve exploratory and testing capabilities of the data analytics team by developing new testing frameworks, writing transferable analytics code in dbt, and working with data engineering to translate analyst requirements into useful data models

  • : passion for growing a mission based company serving a financially vulnerable population, curiosity and drive

  • Advanced SQL (dbt experience is a plus)

  • 4-6 Experience analyzing digital/marketing for a consumer mobile app product at a high growth subscription based company

  • Experience with A/B testing for growth

  • MMP (mobile marketing platform, ex: Appsflyer), or app attribution experience

  • Familiarity with media mix modeling preferred

  • Experience building marketing dashboards, identifying funnel issues and diagnosing issues efficiently

  • Well versed in executive level presentations of data

  • Capacity to manage stakeholder relationships independently

  • Success identifying relevant population segments for various use cases

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $125,000 - $160,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
