In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute the overall Gen AI strategy, designing scalable architectures, managing data pipelines, and selecting appropriate models to align with business needs.

  • Lead the development, deployment, and performance optimization of Gen AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring ethical AI practices.

  • Algorithm Development and Prototyping: Develop components of the platform’s Generative AI capabilities, with a focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, Agentic workflows, and other state-of-the-art generative techniques. Design and implement advanced algorithms to enable innovative AI features in the platform. Rapidly build prototypes to experiment with new algorithms, techniques, and open-source technologies.

  • System Design and Performance Optimization: Build and optimize large-scale backend systems, taking throughput and latency into account. Apply performance optimization techniques,

  • including parallel processing, stream processing, and asynchronous I/O to improve the efficiency and scalability of the platform.

  • Code Review and Refactoring: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code. Read and digest existing codebases, perform code reviews, and refactor code to improve modularity, performance, and maintainability.

  • Implement Evaluation and Diagnostics tools: Implement evaluation, logging, and tracing mechanisms, such as the Atlas-Trust foundation, to facilitate debugging, diagnostics, and performance tracking of the platform.

  • Demo Development: Develop demos to showcase new features and the latest product innovations to collaborators and potential customers.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in AI (NLP and Gen AI models) and strong programming skills in Python with frameworks like LangChain.

  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, including RAG systems, Agentic workflows, or open-source frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex (Plus)

  • Comprehensive knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies such as Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT) for natural language processing (NPL), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) algorithms for predictive analytics, seamless cloud-to-cloud integrations for scalable infrastructure, and GraphQL for efficient data queries and APIs.

  • Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), scalable AI architecture design, and leadership abilities to mentor and guide AI development teams.

  • Strong Python Programming Expertise: Proficiency in Python, with extensive experience in algorithm design and the ability to evaluate different algorithmic approaches for optimal performance.

  • Algorithm & Data Structures: Strong foundation in algorithm design and data structures, with an ability to defend choices, articulate design decisions, and remain open to alternative approaches.

  • Code Quality & Refactoring: A keen sense of code quality and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and modular code. Experience refactoring existing codebases to improve modularity and performance.

  • Backend System Development: Experience building large-scale backend systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and low latency. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques such as parallel and stream processing, as well as asynchronous I/O.

  • Strong multi-cultural team lead skills.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong software/application/analytical and problem-solving skills and passion for product development.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and open to working in agile environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Professional attitude and service orientation; team player.

  • Ability to translate business/functional needs into potential application solutions.

  • Strong work ethic; ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus.

  • Ability to build a sense of trust and rapport to create a comfortable and effective workplace.
