Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to lead and support the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. In this role, you will architect, develop, and maintain both backend and frontend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions aligned with organizational goals. Your expertise will enhance system performance, security, and maintainability, supporting the organization’s digital and operational objectives.

Software Requirements

• Required: Java (version 11 or higher), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, REST API development tools, Git, Maven, Jenkins, SQL (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans)

• Preferred: Front-end frameworks (Angular, React), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud deployment (Azure, AWS, GCP), REST API documentation tools (Swagger), CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress)

• Experience level: 5+ years supporting full stack enterprise applications with proven infrastructure and architecture expertise

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services and frontend interfaces

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and UI components ensuring high availability and responsiveness

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and enterprise standards

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Optimize application and database performance, including query tuning and load balancing

• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes to ensure reliable releases

• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers

• Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and architectural designs

• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: Java (version 11+), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Preferred: Typescript, additional scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation and scripting

• Databases/Data Management:

  • SQL: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server; experience with data modeling, schema design, and query optimization

  • NoSQL support (MongoDB, Cassandra) is advantageous

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Basic knowledge of deploying and managing applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP (preferred)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST API, Angular or React, Swagger/OpenAPI, security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT)

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience supporting full stack Java enterprise applications

• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable APIs and frontend components

• Hands-on experience working with microservices, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms

• Knowledge of database optimization and security best practices in enterprise environments

• Industry experience in finance, banking, fintech, or enterprise IT is preferred; extensive experience in large-scale systems acceptable

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, test, and deploy backend and frontend features aligned with project requirements

• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams during planning, code reviews, and deployments

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security issues

• Automate build and deployment workflows to support CI/CD practices

• Optimize application and database performance through tuning and load testing

• Maintain technical documentation, API descriptions, and operational procedures

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years supporting enterprise Java full stack development

• Certifications related to Java, cloud platforms, or security are advantageous

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience in technical teams
