Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with the United AI Studio engineering teams to help solve business problems
- Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team's deliverables
- Write high quality distributed system software
- Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
- Perform code review and mentor junior engineers
- Should be flexible, adapting to meet the needs of the team, project, or product
- Mentoring and developing other engineers on the team
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, CI/CD and production operations

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine Learning, or related field or equivalent certification
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer
- 2+ years of experience working in any cloud environment - Azure, AWS, GCP
- Experience working in a complex, service-oriented service development
- Good knowledge on technology stack like Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Python,
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations
- Proven solid computer science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
- Proven exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with at least one relational or a NoSQL database
- Experience using terraform or other CI/CD IaC
- Experience in collaborating with geographically distributed teams
- Understanding of architecture and experience in design activities
- Knowledge or working experience on AI/ML projects
