Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with the United AI Studio engineering teams to help solve business problems
  • Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team's deliverables
  • Write high quality distributed system software
  • Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
  • Perform code review and mentor junior engineers
  • Should be flexible, adapting to meet the needs of the team, project, or product
  • Mentoring and developing other engineers on the team
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, CI/CD and production operations
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine Learning, or related field or equivalent certification
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer
  • 2+ years of experience working in any cloud environment - Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Experience working in a complex, service-oriented service development
  • Good knowledge on technology stack like Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Python,
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations
  • Proven solid computer science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
  • Proven exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with at least one relational or a NoSQL database
  • Experience using terraform or other CI/CD IaC
  • Experience in collaborating with geographically distributed teams
  • Understanding of architecture and experience in design activities
  • Knowledge or working experience on AI/ML projects
