About the Role
We are looking for a strong Lead Frontend Engineer who will take full ownership of the frontend part — someone who will actively contribute to the product rather than wait for detailed instructions.
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Work with the product and engineering team to develop wireframes and prototypes.
- Define and improve UI/UX guidelines and best practices for the platform.
- Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to the design system.
- Work as part of a cross-functional squad, delivering new features using agile methodologies with minimal guidance.
- Work with MongoDB and other data stores.
- Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure quality.
- Review PRs and provide feedback to maintain high-quality code and engineering best practices.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and advocate for best practices.
- 5+ years experience in modern web development.
- Experience working with design tools such as Figma to create wireframes and prototypes.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and npm.
- Experience with web frameworks like Next.js and Express.js.
- Familiarity with component libraries like ShadCN, MUI, Tanstack, and building out custom design systems.
- Deep understanding of CSS frameworks like Tailwind, responsive design, and accessibility principles.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, component-driven architecture, and front-end state management.
- Experience working with MongoDB or other similar Document NoSQL data stores.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as GCP and AWS.
- Strong testing mindset with hands-on experience using Jest, Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
- Worked within an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
