As our Lead Flagger, you'll supervise a team of traffic controllers, keep construction sites and special events running safely and smoothly, and make real-time calls that protect crews and the public alike. If you've got 3+ years of traffic control experience and a TCP certificate, we want you leading the team.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise and lead a team of traffic controllers (Flaggers or TCPs), providing guidance and support.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow during construction projects and special events.

  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential traffic hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

  • Monitor traffic conditions, respond to incidents, and make real-time adjustments to traffic control strategies.

  • Assist in the training of traffic control staff on safety procedures, traffic regulations, and proper use of equipment.

  • Maintain accurate records, including incident reports, equipment inventory, and staff attendance.

  • Keep equipment well organized and in working order.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic control in urban environments.

  • Proficient in the 2015 MOT Traffic Management Manual

  • Valid TCP Certificate

  • LCT Certificate

  • Strong knowledge of traffic control techniques, regulations, and equipment.

  • Work is performed outdoors at construction sites dealing with inclement weather.

  • Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required.

  • Proper lifting techniques required may include lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Require standing for long periods of time.

  •  Proficient in using computer software and applications related to traffic management.



Salary Range:

$28 - $32 Per Hour
