Design and implement firmware HMI for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production release, through to post release support

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline or equivalent.
Preferably 8+ years of experience as a front-end developer.
Preferable working experience in real time, embedded software engineering.
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated experience of UX/UI design
Participate in design and creation of scalable software.
Understanding and practical application of System Design and System Architecture, i.e. hardware / software portioning, hardware abstraction etc.
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS and React.
Knowledge of multiple backend languages such as C#, Python, Node.js, LUA and bash scripting
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, SQLite3 and MS SQL .
Demonstrated experience defining and implementing on complex firmware / hardware architectures.
Solid programming experience in C or C++, familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
Testing, bug fixing and debugging other coding issues.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Evidence of mentoring/coaching software team members.
