The Lead Financial Analyst - North America Accounting, plays a key role in Goodyear’s month‑end close and quarter‑end consolidated reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all requirements. This position partners closely with FP&A and product business units to deliver meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision‑making. The role offers broad visibility across the organization and frequent collaboration with cross‑functional teams. A major focus includes analyzing and managing costs tied to finished goods and supply chain logistics. This is a high‑impact opportunity to strengthen financial processes and contribute to operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
Oversee and review key account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement analytics.
Execute and maintain internal controls related to the financial statement close process.
Lead quarter‑end consolidated accounting and reporting to ensure full compliance with internal and external requirements.
Focus on critical cost areas including inventoriable costs (ocean imports, PPV, duties/tariffs), transportation, inventory reserves, and inventory days.
Partner with business leaders, Finance, Operations, and FP&A to deliver clear, actionable reporting and ensure accurate internal reporting and cost allocation across product business units.
Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to support leadership decision‑making.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
5+ years of accounting and auditing experience, ideally within a large public accounting firm or major manufacturing organization.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and organizational capabilities, and the ability to interpret and apply U.S. GAAP while working with complex data.
Background in FP&A, cost center management, and operations‑focused finance, with a desired working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion.
