Daikin Applied is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst. The Lead Financial Analyst will lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, strategic planning, business partnering, and process improvement to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance for Digital, Central Operations, and company-wide fixed cost reporting. Location: Plymouth, MN – Hybrid (3 days/week in office)
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the annual budgeting process and develop periodic financial forecasts.
- Review actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify trends and variances.
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Investigate significant revenue, expense, margin, and cash-flow variances and communicate key drivers.
- Work with department heads to develop budgets, monitor spending, and improve financial performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, planning processes, and financial systems.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to synthesize complex data, identify trends, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations that support informed business decisions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness: Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, and effectively present financial information to diverse audiences.
- Business Acumen & Decision Making: Strong understanding of business operations and financial drivers, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, support strategic objectives, and contribute to profitable business outcomes.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$153,300 + 10% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
