Overall Purpose
We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst with strong data analytics and visualization capabilities to join the PDAI Mobility Allocations team. This role is essential to maintaining the speed, accuracy, and consistency of AT&T's monthly financial close process and to expanding the team's capacity to deliver scalable, data-driven insights for Mobility and Wireline financials.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
PDAI Allocation Analysis & Close Support
Collaborate with wireline allocation team SME’s to develop a single source, automated reporting Center of Excellence
Support the monthly financial statement close process, including daily validation of PDAI allocation outputs during the compressed 5-workday close cycle
Analyze Mobility allocation data for trends, anomalies, driver issues, and cost pool variances — including Geography, Product, Assigned Org, Channel, and Device Type dimensions
Validate financial data (support for SOX Control CP-264033/264034) and assist in the identification and resolution of close issues
Support investigation and resolution of allocation inquiries via the PDAI Mobility Inquiry Tracker
Tool Development & Automation
Leverage Microsoft Copilot and all available, approved enterprise AI tools as primary development resources to design, prompt, validate, and deploy automated financial workflows
Direct AI-generated Python and Oracle SQL solutions for data extraction, mapping automation, and allocation validation — evaluating outputs for financial accuracy and operational fit
Build and maintain automated mapping tools that replace recurring manual processes currently performed by the team, using AI as the primary development engine
Continuously identify new opportunities to apply AI tools across the team's workflow, driving a culture of AI-native problem solving
Document and standardize allocation processes, best practices, and control procedures across the Wireline and Mobility Allocation teams
Reporting & Visualization
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards providing real-time visibility into Mobility allocation results, cost pool driver performance, and external reporting impacts
Develop visualizations that make financial allocation data accessible and actionable for both the internal team and field analyst partners
Support external reporting deliverables impacted by Mobility allocation output

No direct supervisory responsibility.
Education and Experience:
5+ years of financial analysis, accounting, or management reporting experience
Experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tools
Strong understanding of financial close processes, cost allocations, and management reporting
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
Collaborative, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced close environment
Preferred:
Familiarity with PDAI, OFSAA, MR2020, or Oracle EPM platforms
Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other enterprise AI tools
