The Lead Finance Analyst, Adaptive is responsible for administration, and continuous optimization of the Adaptive Workday planning platform. This role ensures that models are accurate, scalable, standardized, and aligned with business needs while enabling financial planning teams to maximize efficiency and insight.


This role performs work under minimal supervision and handles complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

What You’ll Do:  

  • Lead Adaptive model architecture, including assumptions, formulas, hierarchies, versions, and performance optimization.
  • Lead model back testing and diagnostics to identify opportunities for structural, logical, or accuracy improvements.
  • Identify and implement automation, AI, and machine learning enhancements to reduce manual planning effort and improve forecast quality.
  • Develop efficiency strategies that increase the number of communities supported per financial planning resource.
  • Enforce standard model usage, identify non standard configurations, and partner with stakeholders to remediate inconsistencies.
  • Serve as primary owner of exception reporting, including identification, root cause analysis, and resolution of system variances.
  • Manage data integrations into and out of Adaptive; validate data integrity and reconciliation to source systems.
  • Perform full Adaptive administration: user access, security, interfaces, performance tuning, upgrades, and adoption of new functionality.
  • Support budget and forecast cycles, providing hands on model support during peak planning periods.
  • Lead onboarding new communities, including model setup, validation, and coordination with training resources.
  • Expand platform capabilities to support valuation, underwriting, and advanced scenario models as needed.
  • Assess and implement ERP related impacts to planning models, structures, and data flows.
  • Own the corporate Adaptive instance, ensuring reliability, governance, documentation, and operational discipline.
  • Partner with Corporate Planning & Reporting COE to ensure consistent outputs, assumptions, and reporting alignment.
  • Monitor and communicate significant software enhancements by Workday as to make certain that enhancement value is realized.

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Finance with focused experience on FP&A systems, Adaptive Planning administration, financial modeling, or planning enablement roles
  • Deep hands on expertise with Adaptive Workday, including model design, formulas, integrations, and administration
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into scalable model solutions
  • Experience supporting enterprise planning cycles and complex, multi entity environments
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and decision support skills
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and enterprise operating models
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without authority
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter

Additional Information  

Travel frequency: 0-10% 

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $106,000

The actual title & salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
