JOB SUMMARY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the A220 Wing Engineering team in Belfast. You will be joining a collaborative team of structural engineers, technical specialists and engineering leads, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for Airbus Wing products. With a wealth of experience and knowledge, we offer a supportive environment for both technical and personal development. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Lead the technical scope of F&DT projects, providing guidance to engineers and suppliers, and liaising with key stakeholders including Chief Engineers and Technical Authorities.

• Define and update certification methods for Outer Wing structures, ensuring compliance and innovation.

• Approve F&DT deliverables and resolve technical issues using appropriate analysis techniques.

• Act as a focal point for Wing-related F&DT matters across engineering and airworthiness teams.

• Support the development of team members and contribute to the modernisation and digital transformation of our products and processes.

ABOUT YOU

• Experienced in structural engineering with a strong background in fatigue and damage tolerance Analysis.

• Solid understanding of aircraft structural design principles and analytical techniques.

• F&DT analysis approval is desirable.

• Clear and adaptable communicator, able to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and

• stakeholders.

• Proactive and innovative, with the ability to step back and propose new ideas.

• Fluent in English; additional languages and cross-cultural experience are beneficial.

• Committed to acting with integrity, supporting Airbus' values and long-term success.
