Engineering & Project Scheduling
- Develop, release, and maintain complex, integrated engineering project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with scope, execution strategy, and contractual requirements.
- Execute project schedules for assigned Gas Power Business scopes (including GT/GEN/ST/HRSG and BoP engineering), ensuring schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Convert proposal and tender schedules into fully integrated contract schedules, adjusting activity logic, durations, and sequencing based on finalized engineering scope.
- Prepare and manage Tender Time Schedules (TTS), Overall Time Schedules (OTS), Master Time Schedules (MTS), System Time Schedules (STS), and portfolio-level schedules as required.
- Establish and maintain baseline schedules, manage revisions (Rebaseline), and control schedule changes through formal change logs.
Proposal & Contract Support
- Partner with ITO and Proposal teams to define engineering support requirements, develop schedule assumptions, scope matrices, and delivery sequences.
- Participate in deviation and clarification meetings, supporting schedule alignment during proposal and contract finalization.
- Provide schedule inputs for contract negotiations and support preparation of contract documentation.
Schedule Control & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor, update, and control project schedules based on engineering progress inputs (including PLM interfaces).
- Identify and analyze critical and near-critical paths, float consumption, and schedule risks; proactively recommend mitigation and recovery actions.
- Evaluate schedule impacts resulting from customer-requested scope changes and support Extension of Time (EOT) and “as-impacted” schedule analyses.
- Perform micro-planning for critical or delayed work packages and develop “what-if” scenarios to support recovery planning.
Reporting, Analytics & Communication
- Prepare and release project dashboards, KPIs, progress reports, and management presentations for steering committees and senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain S-Curves, progress measurement systems (Earned value management), and forecast completion metrics for engineering scopes.
- Issue weekly look-ahead schedules, monthly progress reports, and on-time delivery (OTD) performance reports.
- Track and report engineering and customer deliverable milestones (LD).
- Clearly communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery plans to cross-functional stakeholders.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with senior engineering planners to define and continuously improve planning standards, templates, and data management practices.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and external vendors to maintain schedule rigor and execution discipline.
