We are looking for an experienced, full-stack software engineer to join our globally-distributed Client Engineering team. Our Lead Engineer will design, build and maintain key features that are integral to our customers and business. We are looking for a hands-on technical expert ready to make an impact. This role reports directly to our Director of Client Engineering.

About you
You are a passionate, full stack engineer and leader with experience building world class B2B, SaaS applications with a focus on search and recommendation systems. You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with teams both domestic and international. You’re able to not only write quality, scalable code but also guide your team to make the right decisions.
As our Lead Engineer, you will
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers that work to build and maintain our customer-facing services and platforms
- Write high-quality code in .NET and Angular that is easy to maintain and test
- Participate in an agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, continuous integration, code reviews, version control systems and automated build processes
- Articulate clear Software Engineering strategies, plans, goals and objectives across multiple projects and teams, including cross-functional partners
- Contribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systems
- Identify, propose and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency
- Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
- Quarterly travel to meet with engineering team is expected
To be successful, you should have
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years experience building customer facing data search and analytics SaaS
- 2+ years leading projects/teams/initiatives
- A track record of architecting and designing robust cloud-based applications that can accommodate scale
- Experienced with .NET, JavaScript
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Strong team player that can collaborate and communicate effectively within and between teams at all levels of the organization, up to and including the President & CEO of the company
- Outstanding track record of delivering outsized value to clients and managing customer / leadership expectations
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
