Main Responsabilities
- Develops and leads the Factory Automation Process implementation in manufacturing operations.
- The purpose of this role is to support the Operational Technology Cybersecurity Team in charge of the delivery of the Enterprise OT Cybersecurity Strategy, with strong focus in implementing solutions that secure manufacturing and automation company networks through all John Deere sites worldwide.
What Skills You Need• Ability to understand PLC logic, programming and controls systems architecture.• Previous experience with Rockwell or Siemens software/hardware.• Experience configuring/programming industrial hardware like: Robots, PLCs, IOs, HMIs, Drives, Torque Controllers, Welders, Vision Systems, gateways.• Experience with SCADA systems programming and configuration• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills• Must demonstrate at least 90% proficiency in written and spoken English• Basic understanding of core network concepts such as: IP, MAC, Firewall, VLANs, LAN.• Experience with languages: SQL and Python• Strong interpersonal skills to obtain information from a variety of sources including ability to communicate and coordinate activities.
What Makes You Stand Out• Experience with various programing languages (SQL Server based software, JAVA, HTML, Python, etc.)• Experience working with Ignition (Inductive Automation) Software• Experience with OPCs, MQTT and middleware industrial protocols.• Experience with configuration of Industrial Managed switches and NATs.• Experience of MES solutions (SAP, MES, Ignition, etc.), mistake proofing of manufacturing processes, and shop floor device connectivity• Experience managing the connectivity of OT devices in company network
Education
- B.E. Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
