Job requirements
- As an ESL/API Developer, the person would be accountable for developing and delivering high-quality APIs and microservices for one or more projects or streams of work. The person would contribute to the design and implementation of RESTful and SOAP services, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. They would also be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code, performing unit testing, and collaborating with architects and other team members to ensure technical excellence. The person is expected to work in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve development processes. They should also be able to quickly learn new technologies and pitch in hands-on for complex implementations when required. 4+ years of experience in building applications, APIs, and microservices in Java, including designing and implementing these solutions. Experience in developing and unit testing applications, preferably with TDD, using Spring frameworks (MVC, IOC, Boot, Batch) and ORM frameworks. Experience in building REST services using Spring or other Java technologies. Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and full-stack development is a plus. Exposure to CI/CD tools (Harness) and build tools like Maven/Gradle. Understanding of integration architectures and API design principles. Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
