Job Description:
- Responsible for architecting, designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Allegion products.
- Work closely with product management and other functional stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.
- Peer reviews for code and design
- Ability to Provide design/architectural solutions for new developments
- Provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams.
- Leader to a team of software engineers responsible for the execution of technical solutions throughout all phases of the Secure SDLC
- Ability to work with UX in articulating the product needs and design aspects.
- Works collaboratively across multiple business units and architectural teams to ensure that stakeholder needs are acknowledged, and requirements are appropriately included in the backlog
- Responsible for managing and completing significant projects involving multiple components and subsystems.
- Responsible for maintaining and publishing apps to production
- Self-directed and able to direct others and be an effective team-player
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience building native applications in iOS and Android
- Expert level experience with Java, Swift, Objective C and Kotlin
- Well experienced with building native UI experiences using SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
- Proficient in using SPM and Gradle to integrate third-party or first party SDK/library dependencies.
- Aware of structured concurrency concepts using Swift Concurrency, Kotlin Coroutines.
- Experience with reactive programming concepts using Combine and Kotlin Flow.
- Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops.
- Experience with working on architectural design patterns like MVVM.
- Experience in developing apps that consume web services.
- Strong knowledge in software design, design patterns
- Experience in Scrum and Agile Philosophy
- Thorough understanding of the Apple’s and Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning using tools (Profilers)
- At least one versioning tool experience (GIT or SVN)
- Experience in ThreatModeling, Security Risk Assessment, Architectural and Design reviews
- Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
- Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process, ability to assess risk and act with a sense of urgency.

- Experience in developing apps on IOT Platform, Bluetooth and WIFI Capabilities
