Job Introduction:

This position is for IP Design Methodology Engineer who will work as part of the IP Design methodology/CAD team for all FIP (Foundational IP) development related topics. The successful candidate will join the IP design methodology team that owns the design and maintenance of methodologies in the development process of memory, logic, and IO IP (Foundational IP).

Your Job

• Work on FIP creation process/flow development, characterization, IP view generation and qualification.
• Work closely with the IP design/QA teams to implement flows, procedures, automation, and utilities to improve design/test/QA efficiency.
• Work on FIP architecture exploration, creation, design verification, characterization, quality assurance, documentation, and silicon validation.
• Work on Memory compiler creation, characterization and interpolation within compiler range.
• Programming, scripting and automation using Java, Python and TCL
• Work with cross-geo, cross-functional teams to understand requirements and communicate resolution in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree in a related field from an accredited university.
  • B.E./B.Tech + minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• 5-7 years of experience in design and maintenance of methodologies in the development process of FIPs such as memory, logic, and IO IP.
• Language Fluency – Fluent in English Language – written & verbal. 
• Sound understanding of logic and/or IO architecture and design flow.
• Must have hands-on experience with IP creation process in Virtusoso.
• Hands on experience with IP characterization, ideally with Liberate and LiberateMX.
• Should have experience with EDA tools for IP view generation and qualification.
• Hands on knowledge in IP design assurance in both electrical and physical domains.
• Hands on experience with Memory compiler creation, memory characterization, and interpolation with compiler range.
• Knowledge of High sigma simulation techniques.
• Sound programming skills using Java, Python and TCL.
• Must have good technical verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams is necessary.
• Be able to collaborate with program and technical design leads on multiple concurrent projects. 
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills, written & oral communication, teaming & interpersonal skills.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IP integration verification in digital block is an added qualification.

• Cliosoft/Dassault for design flow management.
