WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Containerization & Orchestration:
- Architect and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure (AKS, EKS, or GKE).
- Define and enforce containerization standards using Docker and Helm charts.
- Implement advanced Kubernetes features such as service mesh, auto-scaling, and blue-green/canary deployments.
- Optimize container runtime performance, image security, and network configurations.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Build and manage scalable cloud environments using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Implement modular and reusable IaC architectures to standardize infrastructure provisioning.
- Integrate IaC pipelines into CI/CD workflows for fully automated infrastructure management.
- Maintain policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., OPA, Conftest) to ensure compliance and governance.
- CI/CD Engineering:
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or ArgoCD)
- Automate testing, container builds, security scans, and deployments for microservices and APIs.
- Drive best practices for pipeline observability, versioning, and artifact management.
- Collaborate with developers to accelerate release cycles and improve deployment reliability.
- Automation & AI Adoption:
- Build automation scripts and tooling to eliminate manual tasks across infrastructure and pipelines.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted DevOps tools
- Use automation and ML insights to improve deployment speed, resiliency, and incident prevention.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with development and platform teams to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Mentor team members in DevOps best practices, IaC methodologies, and cloud-native design.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of DevOps culture, emphasizing automation, quality, and reliability.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required, Master’s degree a plus.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles.
- 4+ experience in Cloud development (AWS, Azure) and working actively on medium-to-large scale infrastructure management with cloud-native tools.
- Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration — Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
- Proven track record designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in cloud-native environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Certification in one of the following is mandatory, CKA(Preferred), AWS Solution Architect, Azure or GCP
