Position Summary
The Lead Director, Project Management, will play a pivotal role in driving transformative initiatives aimed at enhancing Aetna Clinical Services (ACS) workplace culture and colleague engagement. This position requires an analytical thinker who can effectively plan, manage, and execute high-impact projects that cultivate a positive work environment and significantly improve overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, ensuring that all initiatives align with ACS vision and values.

Oversee and lead a portfolio of internal projects dedicated to culture-building and colleague engagement, planning and executing each initiative from inception to completion.

Secure necessary resources and utilize formal project management processes and tools to effectively manage budgets, assess risks, and implement changes, ensuring that all projects align with organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that promote a vibrant workplace culture and enhance colleague engagement, leveraging innovative approaches to drive participation and enthusiasm.

Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and communication to ensure effective planning and seamless execution of initiatives.

Provide senior management with regular updates on project progress, potential risks, and strategic recommendations, empowering informed decision-making at the executive level.

Apply advanced project management methodologies and industry best practices to drive successful outcomes, ensuring that projects are executed with precision and efficiency.

Promote a culture of collaboration and open communication among teams, enhancing engagement and fostering a sense of belonging across the organization.

Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and gather insights through data analysis and feedback mechanisms, implementing continuous improvements for future initiatives to ensure sustained impact.
Required Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, with a strong focus on culture and engagement initiatives within complex, highly matrixed environments.

Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward common goals.

Demonstrated ability to cultivate a growth mindset within teams and support the professional development of colleagues, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.

Strong execution and delivery capabilities, with a keen focus on strategic planning and supporting engagement initiatives that drive organizational success.

Bachelors Degree in related field
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
