Position Summary
CVS Health’s Shared Services Finance group is seeking a Director, FP&A, who will lead the Finance Expense Planning & Reporting team, which is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Finance Organization’s operating expenses. This person will manage a team of five to six FP&A professionals and work closely with Finance leaders to build their annual budgets and provide them with clear updates on monthly results. This role requires a leader who can work effectively across the organization, build relationships with Finance executives, and continuously improve planning and reporting processes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Annual Budgeting, Quarterly Forecasts and Multi Year Planning
- Month End Close Review and Analysis
- Leader & Segment Reporting for month end results as well as budgets & forecasts
- FTE Planning & Reporting
- Building relationships with the Senior Finance leaders as well as key members of their organizations.
- Champion the use of new tools & methods to drive improvement in how the team works
- Managing a team of 5-6 colleagues
- Ad Hoc project support & analysis
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Corporate FP&A or related roles
- Experience building Annual Budgets & Forecasts in a large company.
- Experience managing the month end close process and associated reporting
- Technical knowledge of financial applications (S4, Hyperion, Anaplan, Tableau, Workiva)
- Strong excel and analytical skills, experience with creating executive level presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with Senior Leaders as well as peers in Finance and throughout the enterprise.
- Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to manage multiple deliverables.
- Experience using AI tools and an interest on staying current with advancements & trends
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Advanced degree or professional credential preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
