Skills Required
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
- Production-grade Kubernetes design and operations experience at scale
- Expert proficiency building, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
- Understanding of pipeline security, artifact management, and blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking, filesystems, processes, memory management, and IPC
- Operating-system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and kernel parameter experience
- Strong Bash and Python scripting skills
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including the control plane, kubelet, etcd, CNI, CSI, scheduler, and admission controllers
- Experience with Helm, Kustomize, Operators, CRDs, and policy management
- Knowledge of Kubernetes workload lifecycle, resource management, autoscaling, and RBAC
- Familiarity with Istio or Linkerd and ingress controllers
- Experience driving infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
- Experience establishing logging, monitoring, and tracing standards
- Experience leading incident response and post-mortem practices
- Prior lead or senior individual-contributor experience mentoring engineers and driving DevOps best practices
- On-premises bare-metal or virtualized infrastructure experience
- On-premises Kubernetes experience with RKE2, K3s, or similar tools
- On-premises networking knowledge, including VLANs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and storage backends
- GPU workloads or AI/ML infrastructure experience
- Familiarity with container runtimes beyond containerd, such as CRI-O
- Exposure to GitOps workflows and progressive delivery tooling
