We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Data and Common Application Platform Tribe, supporting Transaction Data portfolios.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will work in an agile, international team responsible for end‑to‑end product delivery and enhancing the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) leveraging AI capabilities.

If you are highly skilled in Python, and familiar with Ansible, containers, OpenShift, ELK, and other modern technologies, this role may be a great match — even if you’re not sure you tick every box.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Design, develop, test, install, and support applications in line with product requirements
• Build, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines enabling smooth and automated software releases
• Evolve the Software Delivery Cycle (SDLC) through automation and AI‑driven capabilities (e.g., code quality insights, pipeline optimization, automated testing, observability).
• Review technical feasibility, propose system solutions and provide estimates and delivery timelines
• Apply automation, monitoring and alerting across product solution whenever possible
• Collaborate with testers, security teams, and operations to ensure quality, security, and compliance
• Maintain technical documentation and deliver presentations for internal teams and customers.
• Work in a fully agile, international environment across multiple time zones and continents

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines
• Autonomous, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change
• Customer focused and quality mindset – we continually strive to deliver customer value
• Open-minded, solutions oriented, and a true team player – ability to collaborate with teams operating in other time-zones (Europe and APAC)
• Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills
• Analytical with very good troubleshooting skills in understanding complex situations and dependencies
• Practical working experience in an Agile environment
Technical skills
• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• 5+ years of scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Strong experience with container technologies (Podman, Docker, OpenShift) as well as infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Strong Experience with CI/CD practices, along with hands-on experience using tools such as GIT, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus
• Experience with Infrastructure Test Automation is an asset
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, the ELK stack, or similar platforms is an asset
• Experience with agile delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GitHub is an asset
• Good knowledge of networking, security best practices, and Linux/Unix systems administration
