Traditionally, our IT Infrastructure team ensures the stability, system availability, and maintenance of all critical hardware and software. However, as we drive innovation and prepare for future business improvements, we recognize the need for more dedicated capacity to innovate.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating innovative infrastructure projects, improving the flexibility and robustness of our deployment environment, and optimizing our tooling and office collaboration experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate innovative infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery without delay.
- Design and drive the migration from legacy infrastructure to a resilient, highly available Kubernetes-based internal cloud.
- Develop and implement Kubernetes operators, bringing best practices in cluster management and deployment pipelines.
- Enhance the flexibility as well as the robustness of our deployment environment of both production and development
- Coach and mentor team members, building internal expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure our infrastructure supports the company's ambitions.
- Contribute to building a scalable, multi-location network architecture capable of handling various loads and latencies.
- Contribute to implementing security best practices across infrastructure and DevOps processes
Key Requirements:
- Passion for building internal cloud environments and driving innovation.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes environments in production.
- Ability to write Kubernetes operators (experience with Go is a strong plus).
- Deep technical knowledge of server, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Strong project coordination skills; able to drive initiatives forward in collaboration with various teams.
- Experience working in geographically distributed environments is a plus.
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude.
