We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps Engineering team in the USA. This is an amazing opportunity to work on several growing products in Clarivate IP Group. - 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Jenkins or equivalent tools
- 5+ years of experience in at least one programming/scripting language
- 3+ years of experience in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes (or similar tool)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, EBS, RDS, etc.) OR with other cloud platforms
- Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) Certification and/or Kubernetes Certification
- Experience with Datadog or similar
- Ability to support database servers like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support enterprise software delivery
- Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using infrastructure as code principles and deployments for product enhancements.
- Orchestrating and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of tools and infrastructure critical to the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with software architects and development leads to ensure alignment between application design and operational requirements
- Monitor and Optimize systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, architectures, and runbooks
Product you will be developing
You will be working across multiple products in IP which are undergoing a massive transformation to build a connected ecosystem using data mesh, event - based integration patterns and serverless architecture. This innovative data and integration platform supports the entire lifecycle of IP management products and will continue to evolve.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours in the US time zone and significant overlap with colleagues in India and Europe. This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our US Alexandria, VA office at least 2 days a week.
