Lead Development Representative – North America

At SUSE, open source is more than technology—it’s a mindset. We’re looking for a motivated, curious, and entrepreneurial Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join our Marketing Development team. As an LDR, you’ll be the first connection between SUSE and future customers, helping organizations discover solutions that drive their growth and innovation. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who’s ready to grow their skills and play a meaningful role in SUSE’s success in North America.

What You’ll Do
  • Qualify and develop inbound leads from events, webinars, campaigns, and digital programs across North America to set quality meetings for the sales team.

  • Reach out to prospects through personalized calls, emails, and LinkedIn to build relationships and uncover business needs.

  • Use the PANT framework to evaluate opportunities and ensure smooth transitions to account executives.

  • Consistently meet and exceed goals for meetings booked and pipeline created through organized, thoughtful outreach.

  • Maintain accurate lead data and engagement details in Salesforce, providing visibility into activity and results.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales partners to refine outreach strategies and continually improve conversion rates.

What You’ll Bring
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing—preferably within technology or SaaS.

  • Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to engage senior professionals early in the sales process.

  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with excellent organizational habits.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work toward measurable targets.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems; experience with tools like Groove is a plus.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.

For US Only - US Pay Transparency Disclaimer
If this role is filled in the United States of America, the starting base salary is expected to be between 52,000 and 95,000. In addition to this base salary, we offer a corporate bonus plan, paid quarterly and an attractive benefits package. US benefits include a comprehensive medical plan, life and disability insurance, 401k, Employee Assistance Programme and generous paid time off and leave policies. 

Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, geographical location, internal equity, and budget. Please note that this salary information is applicable to the US only. 

This position is subject to a background check(s), including criminal, credit, and/or employment references. The candidate is required to complete the background check(s) once an offer has been accepted. This will be conducted by SUSE’s external provider, where legally permitted.
