Lead Developer Experience Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Developer that will help our Cloud Engineering team establish best practices to help support our internal development teams reach their roadmap goals. You will help foster an engineering culture that delights, retains, and attracts top developers. You should be passionate about optimizing the developers workflow, processes, work environment, so that they can have a more meaningful and delightful experience. Additionally the ideal candidate will have a strong developer driven focus on providing the tooling that enables our internal development teams so they can identify opportunities for improvement and address them.
Required Skills:

• Ability to balance, prioritize multiple projects, and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to build relationships with multiple development organizations
• The ability to translate compliance requirements to technical controls from an Architectural Understanding
• Experience with major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• 4+ Programming/scripting skills using Go Lang, TypeScript + JS/TS tooling and Python
• 4+ years Git + CI/CD (Gitlab CI preferred)
• 4+ years Helm

Valued Skills:

• Configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• A strong desire to work with new and upcoming technologies
• Build and maintain highly available systems
• Understanding of VM tooling (Packer, Docker, etc.)
• Agile / Lean
