Description:

Lead Developer, Site Studio (Drupal) possess a strong background in web development and a passion for creating innovative, data-driven solutions.  You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-active hands-on lead to own the end-to-end development process, identify production issues & pain points, recommend solutions for business enablement, and keep the Drupal (Acquia) projects on schedule. 
  • Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Site Studio, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. 
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate client requirements into technical specifications. 
  • Implement best practices for web development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and deliver innovative solutions. 
  • Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver presentations as needed. 
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior developers, and fostering collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; Master's Degree (preferred)
    • Acquia Certifications:
    • Acquia Certified Developer – Drupal 9
    • Additional Acquia Certifications (preferred) 
  • 5+ years of experience as a Drupal Developer
  • 1+ years of experience as Team / Project Lead (preferred) 
  • Experienced in providing solutions for medium to large websites using Drupal 9 / 10 Platform 
  • Experience as a Site Studio Developer, with a strong portfolio of web development projects. 
    • Development experience with multiple Site Studio tools such as: Component Builder, Content Template Builder, Master Template Builder, Menu Template Builder, View Template Builder, Visual Style Builder, Font Library Manager, Icon Font Library Manager, Color Palette Manager, Website Grid Manager, Style Guide Manager, Sync Package Manager, Custom Components 
    • Experience with Site Factory (preferred) 
  • Experience on Drupal Multisite, Multi-lingual, REST APIs, Caching Mechanism, Forms API, JavaScript API including all common APIs provided by Drupal 9 / 10
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other web development languages and frameworks. 
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
  • Ability to lead a team, manage deliverables, and project milestones when assigned
  • Ability to foresee technical risks and produce mitigation plans
