Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, Marketing, or a relevant field of study required

Work Experiences:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, configuration, and implementation of complex application architecture(s) preferred.
  • 7 years of experience with Financial Systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, EPM (ARCs, FCCS, EPBCS, EDMCS), and OIC cloud solutions.
  • 3 years of experience in Retail.
  • 2 Years in a Lead role, mentoring and coaching junior developers, establishing coding standards, best practices, etc. 
  • Solid technical and functional experience with exposure to implementation and customization.
  • Solid experience in developing high-performance and highly scalable applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain standards.
  • Design and build conceptual solutions, and proof of concepts, wherever applicable, as per business needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development team.
  • Act as the go-to technical expert for specific areas of the application.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and product owners to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements. 
  • Lead in solution development during planning sessions and actively support architects to define the application architecture.
  • Understand the requirement and prepare system flows based on the requirement specification and architecture guidelines.
  • Provide a work breakdown structure and estimation for the work to be executed in their respective area.
  • Provide design and development efforts for any integration required between applications.
  • Develop code to implement business solutions.
  • Understand the requirements and prepare technical design documents based on the requirement specification and architecture guidelines.
  • Provide QA/UAT Support and fix defects promptly.
  • Contribute and adhere to all programming, testing, security, documentation, and release management standards.
  • Provide knowledge transition to support effectively.
  • Provide Hypercare support for implemented projects and enhancements.
  • Provide L4 support as the production support team escalates in resolving the issues.       
  • Train other team members on the implemented solutions or any areas of expertise.
  • Learn and adapt to new technology requirements as needed.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders, management, and other developers to execute assigned tasks.
  • Review/Develop BRD, and FSD on a need basis for large complex projects/enhancements.
  • Primary SME of multiple applications.
  • Develop and maintain Coding Standards for different technology stacks.
  • Proactively identify gaps in the Development Life Cycle and provide recommendations.
  • Perform Code and Solution Reviews, adhering to standards.
