Role Overview

We’re looking for a Lead Design Specialist, Brand & Marketing to elevate our brand and bring our story to life through digital, trade show, presentations, and physical environments. This role is a member of the marketing team and will collaborate with business development, HR, and operations to create compelling presentation decks and helping bring the Beehive brand to life via all design elements and assets that showcase our cutting-edge products and capabilities.  This role will collaborate closely with our external creative agency as well.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and execution of high-impact brand and marketing assets, including executive presentations, one-pagers, brochures, trade show materials, facility visuals, and digital campaigns
  • Serve as the primary design partner to Business Development, enabling BD results through visual storytelling with customer engagement strategies and business priorities
  • Translate highly technical and manufacturing-driven content into clear, professional, and compelling visual communications for internal and external audiences
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve design templates, graphics, and visual guidelines to ensure brand consistency and scalability
  • Own and manage the company’s digital asset library, ensuring assets are organized, current, and easily accessible across teams
  • Support events and trade shows through the design of signage, displays, booth materials, and promotional collateral
  • Capture, edit, and produce photography and short-form video content as needed to support brand and marketing initiatives
  • Partner with external creative agencies to provide direction, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with Beehive’s brand standards
  • Stay current on design tools, digital platforms, and emerging capabilities (including AI-enabled design and motion graphics) to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and impact
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, balancing timelines, priorities, and quality expectations in a fast-paced environment

You Have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of graphic design experience for both print and digital media
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, color theory, and brand storytelling skills
  • Strong background in optimizing PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with photography and videography (pre-production, production, post-production)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and collaborate effectively across teams
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice to Have...

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly technical industries
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, 3D animation, and/or illustration
  • Experience supporting sales tools, trade show booths, or customer training materials
  • Understanding of military/DoD
  • Adobe certification or advanced color management expertise
