Purpose of the role
To use innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from the bank's data reserves, leveraging these insights to inform strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation.
Accountabilities
- Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources.
- Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis.
- Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
- Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data.
- Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science.

- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in developing and implementing advanced data-driven solutions to solve multi-faceted business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business leaders, to leverage data science techniques to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business processes.
To be successful as a Lead Data Scientist, you should have experience with:
- AWS services such as S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, and Lambda.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, and Kafka.
- Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience in the financial services industry and ideally Operations, with a deep understanding of financial and operations data and analytics.
- Supporting data science projects and teams, preferably in a financial context.
- A background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and generative AI.

This role can be located in Henderson, NV, Whippany, NJ or Wilmington, DE.
Henderson, NV salary range:
Minimum Salary: $160,000
Maximum Salary: $180,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
