- Lead the Data & Reporting team with end-to-end ownership.
- Review technical solutions before delivery.
- Guide team members and establish coding and reporting standards.
- Prioritize work based on business impact.
- Develop a strong understanding of business workflows and data across multiple modules.
- Understand how data flows between different systems.
- Identify downstream reporting impacts whenever application changes occur.
- Work closely with Engineering Leads, QA, Product and Business teams.
- Stay aligned with ongoing development and production changes.
- Proactively identify reporting impacts instead of waiting for issues to be reported.
- Drive discussions across teams whenever dependencies exist.
- Independently interact with Client Account Managers and business stakeholders.
- Gather reporting requirements with clarity.
- Challenge ambiguous requirements where necessary.
- Provide timely updates, communicate risks and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Build confidence through proactive communication rather than reactive responses.
- Analyze incoming requests.
- Perform effort estimation.
- Plan deliveries based on priorities.
- Negotiate timelines when required.

- Ensure reports undergo thorough validation before delivery.

Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in Data & Reporting.
- Prior experience leading a reporting or BI team.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL with ability to write, optimize and review complex queries.
- Experience with SSRS report development and maintenance.
- Experience in Power BI dashboards and reporting.
- Good understanding of Azure Functions and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data models and reporting architecture.
- Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Experience working with large transactional datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
