 What will you be doing?

This role involves developing OLAP Data Models for newer data systems, improve existing OLAP Data Models to provide optimal Model performance. Be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Data Models with business requirements. Implement data governance standards and best practices of Data Modeling. Own the outcomes and be able communicate risks in advance. Be a team player and contribute to the success of the Team.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Data Models within OLAP frameworks.
• Understand existing data pipelines and be able to handle changes to the exiting flow to achieve enhancements and change requests.
• Be able to understand relationships between different entities in the existing data systems and relate the same with any newer entities getting integrated to the system.
• Be able to grasp the granularity of different entities of the data systems and align to the business requirements.
• Ability to break down complex requirements into smaller actionable components.
• Understand the additive/non-additive nature of various measures and be able to explain roll up of values and interpretation of slicing and dicing of the measures.

• Manage vendor relationships, and strategic partnerships related to data infrastructure.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Qualification - BE, BTech, MTech, MCA.
• 11-16 years of industry Experience and minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Modeling.
• Proficient in SQL, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Database designs (both SQL and No-SQL), Data Structures.
• Experienced in Shell Scripting or Python, or C++
• Experienced in any Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
• Experience in Data Modeling tools like Erwin, Cognos, OBIEE

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Knowledge and experience on Big Data infrastructures (MPP databases and Distributed Data platforms) and any Cloud platform is a plus
• Understanding, as well as the ability to clearly communicate OLAP principles is a plus
• Passionate about technology, Data, AI, and their application in solving real-world business problems.
• Previous experience translating client requirements into technical specifications
• Previous experience building relationships with clients.
