Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data engineering solutions and cloud-based data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery, ensure technical alignment, and support overall team execution.
- Develop and maintain modern data platforms using technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, Python, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Contribute to AI-driven initiatives by implementing and enhancing LLM, RAG, and intelligent data solutions using modern AI frameworks and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern data engineering practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and data technologies including Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Docker.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or equivalent technologies.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and scalable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM concepts including RAG implementations and AI-driven workflows.
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, vector databases, MCP servers, or similar technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating across technical teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership at a project level.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS Bedrock and AI Knowledge Bases.
- Familiarity with alternative data orchestration and database technologies such as Dagster, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience mentoring technical teams or leading engineering initiatives.
