We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Data Engineer to join our Point of Care and Handheld Ultrasound Algorithm team at our Haifa site. The successful candidate will design and develop and maintain innovative Data Management and Dev Ops solutions tailored for modern AI needs solutions in a fast-growing medical ultrasound domain.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Lead the definition, development, and maintenance of database solutions

Manage and prioritize data team tasks

Drive support and optimization of data processes and automations.

Oversee data preparation and analysis for regulatory submissions.

Translate product and clinical needs to a data architecture.

Lead cross-team data workflow with Algo, Clinical, Verification and Product teams

Establish data engineering best practices and standards

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members
Requirements:
Must:
5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable automatic data pipelines.

2+ years in team leadership or management role

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Experience in hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Experience with writing and overseeing unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Strong team player with proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Collaborative and communicative style, able to adapt to change and guide others through transitions.

Experience with data visualization tools (Such as Tableau, Power BI).

Hands-on experience in Linux environment.
 
Advantage:

Hands-on experience with cloud providers (Such as AWS/GCP/Azure).

Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).

Background in medicine / medical industry.

Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools (Such as Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
