Job Description Summary
In this role, you'll:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Build and optimize data platforms using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and related technologies.
- Implement Delta Lake architectures (bronze, silver, gold layers) and drive best practices.
- Develop and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and modern analytics platforms.
- Apply data governance and security practices using appropriate tools and standards.
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and enhance platform reliability.
- Participate in technical discussions, share knowledge, and support team learning.
- Contribute to reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives through robust data infrastructure.
Your Profile:
- Substantial experience in data engineering, including big data technologies.
- Hands-on exposure to Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and data pipeline frameworks.
- Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, and related services.
- Experience implementing CI/CD for data engineering workflows.
- Understanding of data governance and security concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed data environments.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working in Agile or similar team-oriented methodologies.
