What You’ll DoStrategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the global Data Architecture strategy—ensuring alignment with emerging trends, client demands, and Exadel’s growth ambitions
- Build, grow, and manage a high-performing team of Data Architects and Solution Designers (initial team size: 3–6), fostering talent development and innovation
- Represent Exadel externally as a thought leader in the architecture and data modernization space—participating in industry forums, client pitches, and market shaping
Architecture Vision, Development & Delivery
- Design and own end-to-end enterprise data architecture blueprints for clients— covering all layers including:
- Ingestion, Streaming, Batch Processing
- Data Storage (Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse)
- Data Transformation & Orchestration
- Data Governance, Security & Privacy
- Data Consumption: BI, APIs, AI/ML
- Define and deliver reference architectures that are:
- Cloud-native, modular, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Aligned to Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Lakehouse, and AI-readiness principles.
- Provide architecture governance and oversight across client programmes to ensure quality, scalability, and security.
Execution & Revenue Generation
- Shape and oversee large-scale data architecture solutioning and delivery for Exadel’s key clients.
- Drive the development of architecture-led offerings and accelerators that support revenue growth and market differentiation.
- Actively contribute to pre-sales, solutioning, proposal writing, and executive client engagement.
- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Solution Architecture, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Deep expertise in:
- Cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Real-Time/Streaming)
- DataOps, DevOps, MLOps principlesBig Data, Advanced Analytics, and AI/ML enablement
- Strong background in Data Modelling: Design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Expertise in dimensional modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and normalized OLTP models
- Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, dbt, SQL Developer Data Modeler, etc.
- Solid experience in ETL/ELT design, including:
- Source-to-Target Mapping (STM)Data integration patterns (batch, real-time, micro-batch).Pipeline orchestration and performance optimization
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data transformation, cloud migration, and modernization programmes in complex enterprise environments, ideally in a consulting or advisory capacity
- Exceptional ability to develop reference architectures, technology roadmaps, and reusable frameworks
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business narratives for executives and non-technical audiences
Key Outcomes & KPIs
- Delivery of a scalable, market-leading Data Architecture within the first 6–9 months
- Successful solutioning and oversight of high-value architecture-led client programmes
- Development of reusable architecture patterns, accelerators, and tools that drive delivery efficiency and revenue growth
- Strong contribution to sales pipeline, bid success rate, and client satisfaction
