Job Description

We are seeking a Lead, Data Analystics to join our team and help foodpanda make smart, data-driven business decisions. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have direct impact, then this is the place for you!

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and directly manage a team of data analysts to build world-class data products

• Define KPIs and key metrics for business use cases to drive business decisions

• Manage ETL pipelines, data products and projects for the local business

• Work with Regional on data preparation and build/ assist in data models

• Review day-to-day operation processes, identify area of improvement in operational processes and make actionable recommendations

• Identify opportunities to accelerate growth by ways of automation

• Work closely with the all verticals and teams to identify scalable processes to manage and automate end to end

• Drive strategic analysis and provide recommendations for ad hoc requests, both from within the team and externally

• Create framework for data governance and compliance

• Reports to local management and work closely with regional data group

Qualifications

• At least 6-10 years of experience in data analytics/engineering / data management

• Strong experiences in building and leading data team, owning end-to-end data analytics and engineering products

• Strong experiences with Data Visualisation tools, Big Data, Data Pipelines, Machine Learning technologies are a plus

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong business mindset and ability to grasp business requirements from stakeholders
