The Opportunity
As a Lead CTV Integrations Engineer, you will drive technical integrations for Connected TV publishers, focusing on advanced streaming technologies, partner onboarding, and innovative solution development. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining technical expertise with strategic vision to drive innovation and operational excellence.
The Daily To-Do
- Technical Integration & Onboarding
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of integrations with CTV publishers, including playout and SSAI partners.
- Ensure smooth integration of EPG data, enabling metadata ingestion and dynamic ad placements.
- Work with publishers to ensure their content is optimized for monetization through ad insertion and programmatic technologies.
- Technical Leadership & Performance Optimization
- Define best practices for integrating and optimizing streaming technologies, EPG systems, and programmatic ad delivery.
- Oversee monitoring and troubleshooting of integration performance, implementing improvements to ensure scalability, reliability, and monetization efficiency.
- Mentor team members and collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Collaboration & Innovation
- Partner with the product and engineering teams to define technical requirements for new features related to CTV integrations.
- Work with business development to onboard new publishers and ensure a seamless technical integration process.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to integrate CTV data into performance monitoring tools.
- Stay informed on emerging CTV standards and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Expertise in:
- TypeScript, Node.js, Express
- MongoDB, OpenSearch
- AWS S3, Docker
- Redis, RabbitMQ
- Microservices architecture
- Advanced understanding of HLS streaming protocols
- Experience with Electronic Program Guide (EPG) implementations
- Familiarity with OTT platforms, CTV ecosystems, and programmatic advertising workflows
- Strong API design and integration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Proven track record of complex technical integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
