GENERAL SUMMARY:
As Lead CT Technologist, you'll take charge in the supervisor's absence, serving as a trusted leader and mentor within the division. You'll drive operational excellence, mentor team members, and ensure exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of imaging quality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead with Excellence: Serve as the division's point person during supervisor absence, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining quality standards across all procedural CT services.
- Mentor & Develop Talent: Train and support new personnel and students, sharing your expertise to build a stronger, more capable team.
- Optimize Operations: Manage scheduling, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance reporting to keep the division running smoothly and efficiently.
- Deliver Clinical Excellence: Perform advanced CT imaging procedures with precision, responding proactively to radiologists and physicians on patient care quality and clinical outcomes.
- Ensure Quality & Safety: Maintain comprehensive documentation, process scans with accuracy, and immediately escalate any incidents, problems, or emergencies to division leadership.
- Support Administrative Functions: Handle patient scheduling, RIS operations, telephone communications, and film center coordination as needed to support the broader imaging team.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in educational programs, meetings, and professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in procedural CT imaging.
- Maintain Operational Readiness: Ensure adequate supplies are stocked and properly organized, keeping the division prepared for all procedural demands.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required
- Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the ARRT advanced registry in CT
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
- Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS)
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
